Allport , in his trait theory , explained the concept of PROPRIUM . He explained in his theory of personality traits that first the hunter hunts for food but later on hunting becomes his habit or trait or thought process. Now he can’t give up hunting. So habits or thoughts don’t change.
So it’s difficult for a poor person to think positive or change his thoughts 💭or go for aesthetics and self actualisation.
Thoughts And habits die hard.
